Learn to bleed the motorcycle trike rear brakes

The benefits of a motorcycle trike are that it has 3 wheels, seats that are more comfortable and more stability. For a greater stopping ability these vehicles have hydraulic disc brakes. But sometimes air just gets inside the break lines and you need to get it out by bleeding the brakes.

Follow these steps:

  1. The first step is to identify the brake reservoir near the brake lever. Remove the cap from it.
  2. Now to get fluid out you need to loosen the bleed valves on every rear cylinder of the trike. After someone presses the brake pedal, fluid should come out.
  3. Now pour the fluid back while the pedal still pressed until the fluid stream is constant and solid. Finally all the air has gotten out of the brake line.
